Am Anfang stand ganz einfach die Idee, sich mittels des Latin Real Books die lateinamerikanische Musik von Cuba bis Rio einzuverleiben. Mit ihren vom Jazz herkommenden Mitteln spürt die Band eher wenig bekannten Songs nach, die sie nach ihren Vorstellungen bearbeitet. An den Probesessions in Thun, die auch zum Bandnamen inspirierten, wurde intensiv an den komplexen Latin-Arrangements gefeilt. ... more
